We are a leading service and expertise provider for high-tech commercial ventures, spanning communications, earth observation and remote sensing systems and data products, to the infrastructures that support earth orbiting and beyond earth orbit businesses.Stellar Solutions has an opportunity for an Acquisition Support Specialistto support the US Space Force (USSF) in developing and deploying warfighter capabilities within the Program Executive Office's Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power portfolio inEl Segundo, California.This team provides systems acquisition and program management support on various capability development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of the advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable in most instances, rapid fielding to meet warfighter needs.In this position, you will:Provide expert advice to the Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution and draft the necessary documentation (ESIS, ASP, ASD, J&A, Source Selection Strategy, etc.)Provide Acquisition assistance to technical personnel involved in development of statement of work or data deliverable requirements for variety of pre-award and/or post-award procurement actions (e.g., SOW, CDRLs, Incentive Plans, etc.)Assist with contract negotiation, price reasonableness determination, administration, and termination proceduresAssist the contracting office in preparing contract modifications and supporting documentation for actions such as funding, award fee, period of performance extensions, and admin modificationsDevelop and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02, and relevant DoD, AF, and Space Systems Command policiesDraft technical evaluations and function as an advisor in source selectionsProvide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor designs and milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirementsMonitor & evaluate contractor performance for compliance with contract terms/conditions & ensures timely submission of contract deliverablesRequired Skills and Education:Bachelors degree and minimum of 14 years of related experience (4 years of additional experience may be used in lieu of degree) with:Contracting regulations and procurement proceduresDepartment of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System processJoint Capabilities Integration and Development System processPlanning, Programing, Budget and Execution processMust have an in-scope security background investigation (T5 or SSBI), adjudicated for SCI eligibility and enrolled in the Continuous Evaluation program (if applicable)Must be willing to be nominated for access to Sensitive Compartment Information and Special Access Programs and willing to consent to a Polygraph examinationDesired Qualifications: Professional certification (e.g., PMI PMP)Experience within the National Security Space domainExperience working in development environment and, or U.S. Government weapons system program officeLocation:This position is full-time, on site in El Segundo, CACompensation:The typical salary range for this position is USD $120,000 - $160,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package). Deliverables will be in the format of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, or other documents as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction.
