Provides the technology, supplies, policies, and procedures for quality work. Serves as an interface with administration and clients. Holds primary responsibility for scheduling, evaluating, directing staff members. Evaluated the lab’s work quality. Prepares and monitors section budget. Ensures compliance with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH), The Joint Commission (TJC), and the College of American Pathologists (CAP) policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsReports:Director/Lab Services (JC: 009601)Supervises:Med Lab Technologist (JC: 023102) and Med Lab Technician (JC: 043002)Required Education:Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory scienceRequired Experience: Two (2) years of job-related experienceRequired Certification/License/Registry:Florida Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license.
