Groundskeeper

The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course.Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00 per hourQualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Must possess the ability design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf courseExperience with operating greens/fairway mowers preferredMust possess the ability to create spray programs for the golf course including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and landscapingMust possess the ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operationsAbility to give oral and written instructionsSkilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovationMust be dependableResponsibilities:Maintains clean and organized works areas on the golf course and maintenance facilityMows greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, tees, and other areasWaters tees, greens and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional waterRepairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as neededGrades and prepares soil base, lays sod and seeds greens, tees and fairwaysTrims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower bedsApplies pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers to the golf coursePerform other duties assigned by supervisor or managerFull-time Benefits & Compensations:Employee Assistance Program (EAP)401k (19+)Holiday PayPaid Sick Leave
