We collaborate with top manufacturers and suppliers to enhance product reliability, safety, and performance—and we want you to be part of our team!Position OverviewAs a Source Inspector, you will travel to supplier facilities to perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections on precision-manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Using your expertise, you will verify compliance with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, and industry specifications. Your inspection results will be reported directly to the customer via a web-based application.Key Responsibilities:✅ Conduct in-process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies✅ Inspect parts per engineering drawings, ANSI Y14.5 GD&T, AS9102, and other relevant standards✅ Use precision mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers✅ Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102✅ Report inspection findings directly to the customer via a web-based platformWhat You Bring:✔ Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standards.✔ Strong knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) and engineering requirements✔ Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and purchase orders (POs)✔ Experience with mechanical inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)✔ 1099 Contractor (Must have an LLC or be willing to obtain one)✔ Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
