This person will work directly with our skilled team of the Austin Road Group on our highway and bridge projects throughout Texas. In this role you will be a part of a growing team and contribute to transportation designs and mentoring of other staff members. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong technical background in H&H modeling.Coordinate the efforts in preparing contract drainage drawings, specifications, and estimates, while also overseeing the creation of project-specific drainage/hydraulic reports and technical documentationConduct cross drainage hydraulic analysis and designConduct drainage analysis and design per the requirements of the project and transportation public agencies such as TxDOTPreparation and review of FEMA CLOMR and LOMRsPreparation of storm sewer, cross drainage, and floodplain models using Open Roads Designer (ORD), ORD Drainage and Utilities (ORD DU), HY-8, HEC-RAS, and HEC-HMSBachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringRegistered PE in Texas5+ years of experience working on drainage-related projectsExperience using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS (steady, unsteady flow, and two-dimensional), ORD DU, and/or other drainage analysis softwarePreferred CFM certificationFloodplain mapping experience is a plusExcellent written and verbal skillsAmerican Structurepoint is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
