Examines and treats patients with a wide range of conditions and refers those patients with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. Typical job duties include taking patient histories, performing or requesting diagnostic tests, making diagnoses, prescribing treatment, performing follow up examinations, as well as educating patients in disease prevention and health maintenance. Additional duties include preparing medical records, clinical reports, and correspondence.Examine and diagnose patients, order appropriate diagnostic tests, and prescribe medicationsDevelop and manage treatment plans for patients, including preventive care and health maintenanceEducate patients and families about health issues, disease prevention, and medical treatmentsRefer patients to specialists and other healthcare professionals as neededCommunicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate quality patient careKeep detailed medical records and document patient care activitiesGraduate of a 4-year Medical School Completion of a U.S. residency program in Med/Peds, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board certified or board eligible in their specialtyMinimum of 2 years’ experience as a primary care physician preferredExtensive Knowledge of medical and diagnostic proceduresExcellent Communication and interpersonal skillsActive and unrestricted CA medical licenseActive and unrestricted DEA licenseActual annual compensation is based on RVUsUSD $240,000.00USD $270,000.00
