Additionally, we participate in the E-Verify program.As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will work with our growing DevSecOps practice developing APIs and integration capabilities to connect data, services, and systems to help our customers achieve their mission. We are looking for candidates with experience with cloud platform services, understanding business requirements and implement complex integrations. Responsibilities include:Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developersTesting and examining code written by others and analyzing resultsEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threatsIdentify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop software updates and ‘fixes’Develop APIs, micro-services and integrations using a broad range of software programming tasks to ensure that their systems integrations are functional.Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects.Advise technical teams on performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on Anypoint Platform.Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate functional and non-functional requirements into integration interfaces and implementationsCreate and provide technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individualsDocument as-is state of the environment, perform a gap analysis, and produce artifacts that articulate options and recommendations"¯Act as an individual contributor and mentor more junior team membersEngineer and implement solutions and provide recommendations for continuous improvement for the services providedPresent regular status updates and provide cross training to other team members.Required:Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security ClearanceBS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience5 Years of Experience with one or more clouds (i.e. AWS, Azure, or GCP)5 Years of Experience with Git SCM providers such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket5 Years of Experience with one or more programming or scripting languages5 Years if Experience with one or more integrations technologies - specifically, with Java integrations libraries such as Apache Camel, Spring Boot, and JDBC Experience developing API Management solutions and micro-servicesPreferred:Certifications:AWS Cloud PractitionerAWS Solution Architect AssociateAzure Developer Associate5 Years of application development experience in an Agile environmentExperience implementing docker containers and utilizing platforms such as KubernetesExperience designing, implementing, and documenting APIsExperience utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Pipelines, CircleCI, TravisCIExperience implementing Automated Testing frameworks to test APIs and integrationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skillsSteampunk relies on several factors to determine salary, including but not limited to geographic location, contractual requirements, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. The estimate displayed represents a typical annual salary range for this position.
