Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa rests on 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado. 72 room luxury Resort with amenities that include lodging, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, full service spa & air tours.Resort Culinary Team hiring Line Cooks / Prep CooksPrepare, plan, prep, organize the line setup and provide quality service in all areas of food production.Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental and resort policies/proceduresEnsure all prep work is maintained throughout shiftMaintain excellent working knowledge of department menu items, ingredients and recipesInspect the cleanliness and organization of the line and workstations; rectify any deficiencies; maintain through the shiftPrep work on items needed for the particular menu of the dayOrganize all various prep items needed from different areas to ensure all items are in place and ready for serviceMaintain proper storage procedures as specified by health department and Resort requirementsDisinfect and sanitize cutting boards and worktablesAssist with inventories as schedulesAssist in plating Banquet hot meals as assignedFollow maintenance program and cleaning schedulePerform duties in other areas of kitchen as assignedSeasonal position - $20.00/hourPaid Holidays / Sick Time401k EligibilityFriends & Family DiscountAssociate CafeteriaEconomical on-site housing - rent includes all utilities, internet & satelliteAssociate Clubhouse, Fitness Facility, Pool Requirements Two year's experience in similar positionCulinary line or prep cook experienceTechnical culinary abilities, proficient knife skills, progressive cook styles and abilitiesExperience in Hospitality Industry or similar position
