Requirements TheClinical Nurse Educator and Onboarding Coordinatorwill ensure that: u00b7 A coordinated process is maintained that enables learners to obtain precepting and shadowing experiences as required by their home institutions in a way that s satisfactory to them, their preceptors, their home institutions and Jordan Health. u00b7 A robust training and onboarding process enables newly hired and currently employed clinical team members to deliver optimal performance. u00b7 Nurses hired by Jordan Health achieve pre-employment and annual competency scores at 80% or greater. u00b7 Jordan Health is a Learning Organization, encouraging growth. u00b7 Confidentiality and compliance are maintained at all times. Education And Experience Required: u00b7 RN or other healthcare professional, with a minimum of one year experience in the nursing or another health care profession with evidence of education/teaching in that role. Licenses And Certifications: u00b7 Bacheloru2019s Degree in Nursing or Bacheloru2019s Degree in related health field or must be in process of completing BSN or Bacheloru2019s Degree in related field (>50% complete). u00b7 New York State RN licensure in good standing with no negative comments, if an RN. u00b7 Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association. u00b7 Infection Control Certification. Special Skills, Knowledge Required: u00b7 Computer expertise and competency in the following programs: Windows, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. u00b7 Must have excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. u00b7 Must have excellent presentation and leadership skills and a demonstrated ability to teach effectively. u00b7 Decision making/Problem solving- Adept at identifying problems, creating and implementing solutions in a timely manner, sometimes under tight deadlines. u00b7 Drive for Results- can be counted on to achieve goals successfully. u00b7 Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. u00b7 Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and flexible. u00b7 Proficiency with Microsoft applications and electronic medical record. u00b7 Must be skilled in team-based project management, and capable of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
