University of Rochester: Office of the Provost: University of Rochester Medical Center: School of Medicine and Dentistry: Medicine: Medicine: Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Salary Range or Pay Grade $218,700 - $348,482 Description The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care is seeking a full-time Faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), Rochester, New York. We seek a faculty member with an interest and ability in pulmonary procedures to join a diverse and collegial faculty group with clinical and basic, translational, and clinical research expertise in critical care medicine, pulmonary hypertension, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, and lung cancer screening. We have competitive fellowships in Pulmonary/Critical Care and Critical Care Medicine. URMC supports several regional hospitals with room for procedure program expansion. faculty with a passion for academic medicine, who completed a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and is board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Those with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Advanced Diagnostic Bronchoscopy _or_ Diplomates in Interventional Pulmonology are encouraged to apply, but these are not required. Responsibilities would include evaluating appropriate inpatients and outpatients and performing diagnostic procedures in our dedicated procedural suite, including but not limited to EBUS and navigational bronchoscopies (Ion and ILLUMISITEu2122), thoracenteses, and pleural catheter placement. Clinical time in the ICU, on Pulmonary Consults, and the outpatient clinic is available. Protected time for basic, clinical, or translational research can be negotiated.
