Job Type Full-time Description USAirports is a family-owned, full service FBO that operates 24/7/365 and serves the general aviation community as a fixed base operator in a state-of-the-art facility on the south side of the Frederick Douglass - Greater Rochester International Airport. USAirports provides a full range of amenities and ground support services such as fueling, hangaring, aircraft maintenance, tie-down, and ramp parking to the personal and corporate tenants of the airport as well as transient aircraft.We are seeking full-time Flight Line Service Agents for all shifts to fill a position that offers a rewarding work experience and benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term disability, optional accident and critical care insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, and 401(k).Full Time Hours: A Shift: 0430-1300 B Shift: 1300-2130 C Shift: 2130-0600Workdays: Wednesday through Sunday Friday through TuesdayHourly Rate: $16.00 to $23/hr. Based on Experience B and C Shift DifferentialESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:u00b7 Refueling aircraft.u00b7 Deice aircraft.u00b7 Refueling ground service equipment.u00b7 Driving fuel trucks and ground support vehicles.u00b7 Parking, towing, storing, and securing aircraft. This includes directing the movement of aircraftand vehicular traffic on the aircraft operating area.u00b7 Policing the ramp, lounges, and auto parking areas, ensuring that the cleanliness and securityof the companyu2019s aviation facilities is maintained.u00b7 Moving aircraft in and out of hangar.u00b7 Assisting passengers in an appropriate manneru00b7 Meeting arriving and dispatching departing aircraft.u00b7 Monitoring and maintaining fuel inventories on fuel trucks.u00b7 Provide lavatory service, water service and supply restocking as requested.u00b7 Provide shuttle service for passengers and crew as required.u00b7 Assist with general cleaning and clearing debris from ramp, building and customer areas.u00b7 A high regard for customer service for the flight crews and passengers of privately ownedaircraft must be maintained.u00b7 Ability to successfully and timely complete USAirports training and computer-based training modules.u00b7 Perform other duties as assigned by management.TRAINING WITHIN FIRST 60 DAYS (additional $0.50 per hour once completed):u00b7 NATA Safety Training.u00b7 Airline Fuel Training.u00b7 Airline Deice Training.u00b7 Once those benchmarks are achieved, the employee is capable of performing those tasks independently.TRAINING WITHIN FIRST 90 DAYS (additional $0.50 per hour once completed):u00b7 Aircraft Tow Training.u00b7 Once an employee is fully trained, they are eligible for an additional $0.50 per hour.u00b7 Potential to become Line Service Lead or Line Service Supervisor.Requirements QUALIFICATIONSu00b7 Minimum 18 years of age.u00b7 Required documentation: valid Driveru2019s License, birth certificate and/or passport.u00b7 Able to pass a 10-year background check, receive and maintain an airport security badge.u00b7 Able to acquire customs seal through US Customs and Border Patrol.u00b7 Excellent dependability, communication, and professionalism required.u00b7 Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including holidays and weekends.u00b7 Experience in airline, hospitality/resort, personal customer service industries and/ormilitary service a plus but not necessary.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENTu00b7 Able to work in a fast-paced work environment with efficiency and accuracy.u00b7 Able to perform repetitive tasks and motions, including bending at the waist and knees,standing, sitting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, and twisting for extended amounts of time.u00b7 Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs. from floor to waist level.u00b7 Must be willing and able to work at heights up to 45u2019 in a bucket truck and up to 12u2019 on a ladder.u00b7 Must have sufficient vision and ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position.u00b7 Ability to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) such as ear protection, safety glasses,gloves, high visibility clothing when required.u00b7 This is an airport environment with duties both indoor and outdoor.u00b7 Certain functions may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditionssuch as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise. The tasksare performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (includingspinning propellers and engines).Salary Description $16 to $23 per hour based on experienceMinimum Salary: 16Maximum Salary: 23Salary Unit: Hourly
