Southwest Animal Hospitalin Jefferson City, Missouri is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our amazing team!About our clinic:Southwest Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital that has beenoffering the best in medical and surgical care to the pets of Cole County since 1971. We treat primarily dogs and cats, but several of our doctors treat exotics and perform limited preventative care on birds. We moved into our new building in 2013 and you can tour our beautiful facility at: swahjc.com/virtual-tour.Ourhospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, and cold laser therapy. We have a trained technician who performs our diagnostic ultrasounds and echocardiograms. We are paperless, using AVImark for our electronic medical records.We also have boarding and grooming services within our facility.Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry in our surgery suite and dentistry area. We refer our orthopedic procedures out, but we do have equipment for TPLO procedures for any candidates interested and experienced in orthopedic surgery. Any candidate interested in surgery (soft tissue or orthopedic) would have their own surgery day.Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Every employee works together as a team each day and we do not tolerate drama. To round out the group, our practice manager, Robert, keeps us all on track and the practice running smoothly.
