We put the unity in 'opportunity.'Opportunity Snapshot:Compensation: $65-85/hourLocation: Midland, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance , 401(k), Holidays and PTOForecast and plan new facility builds, ensuring alignment with operational goalsCollaborate with Permian East and Permian West teams on Bill of Materials (BOM) for new facility constructionAssist facilities teams with layout planning for cable trays, PLC racks, and related electrical infrastructure.Develop and maintain standardization documentation for various PLC systems and automated devicesMaintain structured tracking for all PLC locations, configurations, and associated data convertersDevelop and implement monthly power usage tracking and forecasting models to ensure optimized energy consumption across facilitiesMonitor power demand and coordinate with relevant teams to adjust energy allocation based on operational needsAnalyze historical power consumption data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency improvementsWork closely with stakeholders to develop strategies for reducing power waste while maintaining operational reliabilityWork with Generator vendors to track and document generator performance metrics, including usage, maintenance schedules, and efficiency ratesMaintain forecasting models for generator utilization to ensure uninterrupted power supply in critical areasCoordinate generator requests, ensuring adequate capacity for facility expansions, emergency preparedness, and system upgradesWork closely with PME teams to evaluate generator deployment needs and prioritize installation and maintenance schedulesManage PME requests related to power distribution, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvementsEnsure timely approvals and implementation of PME initiatives to support operational requirementsCollaborate with engineering teams to enhance power system reliability and performanceMaintain detailed documentation of PME actions, approvals, and implementation timelinesOversee bid document tracking, procurement processes, and cost analysis to support decision-makingMaintain spreadsheets to represent costs, procurement details, and work orders related to IC&E projectsUtilize drafting expertise to create detailed designs for new construction projectsProvide technical documentation and schematics for electrical and automation installationsDocument and track generators and PME requests to support operational reliabilityMaintain structured tracking of all PLC configurations, wire schedules, and automation devicesBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Controls, Industrial Automation, or a related field preferred10 years of relevant experience in IC&E planning, facility buildout, and automation systems may be accepted in place of a degree.Minimum 10 years of experience in IC&E planning, facility buildout, and automation systemsExperience working with PLC systems, HMI’s, instrumentation, electrical layouts, and industrial automation solutionsStrong understanding of power distribution systems, load forecasting, and energy optimization techniques.Expertise in generator performance tracking, predictive maintenance, and deployment planningKnowledge of PME request processes, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment reliability strategies.Experience in facility electrical planning, including cable tray layouts and control system integrationProficiency in drafting and detailed design for electrical and automation projectsAdvanced spreadsheet management for tracking PLC configurations, bid documentation, power usage, and project detailsExcellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional coordinationStrong problem-solving abilities with a focus on efficiency, reliability improvements, and cost-effective solutionsThe Bergaila Way:The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
