Johanna Foods is also a leading private label and co-pack juice and yogurt producer, manufacturing products for numerous leading retailers and brands.What we offer:Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, short term disability insurance, long term disability insurance, vacation, and tuition reimbursement.Hours of Work:7:00 am - 3:00 pm, M - FWeekends on occasion if business requiresSupervise the repair and overhaul of all transportation fleet equipment, tractors and trailers; oversee all shop operationsEvaluate work of the mechanics, schedule training to fill gaps Check the status of maintenance and repair work on vehicle and trailersCoordinate incoming work with existing work loadEstablish maintenance prioritiesMake sure all work are performed within reasonable time frameTroubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend corrective actionPerform necessary welding jobsMaintain a neat and safe work environmentSubmit weekly “Trailer Out of Service” reportMaintain necessary inventory of critical partsContact Suppliers for parts priceFill out Purchase Order Request form and submit for approvalAbility to plan and supervise work of shop mechanicsAbility to train and coach mechanics re: job specific skillsBasic knowledge of computer in order to be able to use diagnostic softwareAbility to diagnose defects and repair problems with diesel and gasoline enginesNumerical skills to audit time records and productivity metric calculationKnowledge of hazards and safety precaution in the work placeKnowledge of practices working with tools of welding and machines
