You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting government contracts or similarExperience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirementsExperience reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test resultsExperience utilizing software development and software design methodologiesExperience with Java, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and JIRAExperience with OCI-compliant containers and container orchestrationAbility to provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software componentsAbility to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to peers and managementAbility to work well with a small team on fast-paced development and operational projectsTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphBachelor's degree or a HS Diploma and 24+ years of experience as a Software EngineerNice If You Have:Experience with Python 3.12, asyncio and pydantic librariesExperience with DevOps practices and toolsExperience with Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence)Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and front-end build processesKnowledge of Machine Learning algorithmsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,000 /year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,000 /year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, sign-on payments, relocation, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of full paid medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
