LPNs participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. LPNs work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREDGraduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERREDAdditional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
