We are currently seeking experienced and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team.#DekaCareersWages starting at $35$5000.00 BonusOpportunities primarily available on 2nd and 3rd shift.Consistent schedule and guaranteed 40 hours with opportunity for overtime.Position Summary:The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the assembly, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems in machinery, equipment, and production lines. This role requires a strong understanding of both mechanical components and electrical systems.Key Responsibilities:Assemble and install electrical and mechanical components according to schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to verify the functionality of equipment.Document repairs, calibrations, and part replacements in maintenance logs.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support new equipment installs or modifications.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.*Maintains regular attendance.*Ability to work mandatory over time.Performs other duties as requested by Management.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.Equal Opportunity Employer.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.Qualifications:Associate degree or technical diploma in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.2+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, PLCs, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic instruments, and maintenance software.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred:Experience with automation systems and robotic equipment.Certification in electrical or mechanical systems (e.g. Maintenance Technician Certification).Ability to bend, twist, do extensive walking, lift up to 50 lbs, and have good hand-eye coordination.Must have a valid state driver's license.
