Job site locations include the Manhattan, Junction City, and Topeka, KS areas.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Work on medical, school, federal, state, and commercial business projects.Lay out of mechanical systems, supports, or related equipment according to stallation of commercial mechanical systems to include but not limited to:Packaged rooftop equipmentCentral air handling equipmentExhaust and intake fans, louvers, vents and hoodsDuctwork: low pressure, medium pressure, flex, spiral, galvanized, aluminum, black steel, etc.Dampers: volume control, fire, smoke, combination, automated, manual, etc.Kitchen hoods and associated ventilation equipmentAir distribution: grilles and registers for ceiling, wall, floor and duct mounted installations.Load and unload tools and material.Maintain assigned tools and issued safety equipment.Maintain daily communication with your direct supervisor. Take direction from foreman.Supervise and support helpers on projects as required.Coordinate subcontractors as required for each plete as-built drawings at the end of projects.Accurately record time worked daily and submit timesheet weekly.Follow all policies as outlined in the company handbook and safety documentation.Monitor jobsite to ensure a safe work environment and report any safety violations to supervisor.Supervise and mentor assigned assistantsapprenticeslaborers.Perform other duties as directed by the site foreman or superintendent.The candidate is responsible for transportation to and from the job sites.Qualifications:Minimum four years' experience in mechanical trade.
