Ed Morse Automotive Group is looking for a high-energy, results-driven General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead the sales department at our Moberly, Missouri location. Relocation packages are available for the right candidate.Lead all aspects of the new and pre-owned vehicle sales operationsSet and achieve sales targets while maximizing gross profit and front-end performanceRecruit, train, and mentor the sales team — including Sales Managers, Finance Managers, and Sales ConsultantsDevelop and implement effective sales processes, word tracks, and customer engagement strategiesMonitor sales metrics and performance reports to drive accountability and improvementPartner with the General Manager and other department leaders to support overall dealership goalsEnsure top-notch customer satisfaction throughout the sales experienceManage showroom activity and customer flow to ensure efficient operationsWork closely with marketing to implement successful lead generation and advertising strategiesStay current on market trends, pricing, and inventory needs3-5+ years of automotive sales management experience (preferably in a GSM or similar role)Demonstrated success in leading a high-performing sales team in a dealership environmentStrong understanding of sales processes, desking deals, and F&I workflowExcellent leadership, coaching, and communication skillsProficiency in dealership software (CDK experience a plus) and Microsoft OfficeA commitment to delivering outstanding customer serviceStable, progressive career history in the automotive retail industryMust Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.Why Ed Morse?Accelerate your career with Ed Morse Automotive Group!
