The person in this role will lead Multmedia Toolkit development.Active Top Secret clearance is required to be considered.We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Software Engineer with 10 years of experience applying software development tradecraft in the multimedia exploitation career field. The Engineer expertise should be centered around, but not limited to:Database and Storage Systems with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB for large-scale document storage and object storage systems using Azure, AWS, CephData technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, SolrKnowledge of cloud-native technologies and containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes for deployment and orchestrationBackend and Cloud Server environment and Data Center Infrastructure and complianceThe Engineer will sustain the deployed Government-Off-The-Shelf applications, related processes and over time make improvements by following the approved iterations and demonstrating changes that will optimize the operational users to analyze at a greater speed. The ideal candidate will be able to discuss strengths related to managing related to managing a highly skilled team in a high paced environment, bringing stakeholders that have unique perspectives into a comprehensive technology roadmap, which will help their team to steer by to meet operational customer demands. The Engineer with practical implementation experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning will aid in their accomplishment of their technical mission to improve the deployed application and process to a new, improved operational state.Key Responsibilities:Perform system engineering and develop a multimedia review tool using SAFe methodology to integrate bug fixes, security enhancements and new capabilitiesAct as a subject matter expert for all portions of the multimedia review tool code base and lead a team of developers to implement new features and resolve software issuesDeliver multimedia review tool builds using Agile Framework (SAFe) processes to deliver incremental builds based upon agreed upon government requirementsDevelop and enhance multimedia review tool to visually display, correlate and report multimedia data based upon metadata and analytic resultsIntegrate ingestion workflow with other upstream and down steam systems to seamlessly transition and communicate data and processing results between systems that may be geographically separated with limited bandwidthIntegrate the government’s analytics to enable users to quickly and intuitively view imagesPerform system engineering and system administration to deploy the multimedia review tool to all government designated development and operational environmentsPerform system engineering and system administration to maintain multimedia review tool deployments within various infrastructures, including ensuring the tool remains consistent with all policies, procedures, and requirementsProvide level of effort and timing decisions during planning sessionsTechnical Experience or KnowledgeMinimum of 10 years of technical experience in software engineeringDemonstrated experience with multimedia exploitation processing, analysis, and data management including direct and recent experience building a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platformDemonstrated experience managing petabyte-scale, complex technology programs, preferably within the government or law enforcement sectorsDemonstrated experience in developing and maintaining applications that handle petabyte-scale data and high-throughput processingDemonstrated experience in the Java programming language as well as front-end technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and VueDemonstrated experience with user interface and user experience design, ensuring that tools are accessible and efficient for end usersDemonstrated experience of the operational environment in Digital Forensics, Data Recovery, Forensic Tools, Mobile Digital Forensics, Legal Process, Video Capture, Case Management Techniques and analysisDemonstrated experience of database and storage systems with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB for large-scale document storage and object storage system using Azure, AWS, CephDemonstrated experience of data technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, SolrDemonstrated experience of cloud-native technologies and containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes for deployment and orchestrationDemonstrated experience of backend and Cloud server environment and Data Center Infrastructure and complianceEducation/Certifications/SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldRelevant certifications to include at least of the following:Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSPCertified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP)Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)Unity Certified ProgrammerMicrosoft Azure Developer AssociateKnowledge of DoD 8570/8140 compliance and its implementationExpertise in technical architecture in a government contracting environment engineering GOTS and COTS tools within a secure environmentUnderstanding of federal cybersecurity guidelines, including compliance with Executive Order 14028 and other relevant regulationsProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage cross-functional projects involving software development, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructureDemonstrated ability to lead a technical team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and driving projects to completionAgile Certifications, preferredStrong knowledge of SAFe/agile methodologies software development life cycles, and modern project management tools and techniques like Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practicesStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex software issuesExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsParadyme, a CATHEXIS Company is an equal opportunity employer.
