Facility Maintenance Technician

This position provides building maintenance in support of the Dumfries and Fairfax Ambulatory Care Centers.Why Choose Spectrum Healthcare Resources?Work in a purpose-driven environment and support our Nation's military Veterans and their familiesEnjoy work-life balance with a per diem opportunity | Estimated 15-20 hours per weekJoin a supportive team and benefit from exceptional colleagues and a positive working environmentThe primary responsibilities will include:Provides facility maintenance and repairsHandles repairs, cleaning, and other general upkeep for the buildingGeneral tasks include, but not limited to, changing light bulbs, putting together appliances, fixing leaky sinks and toilets, and at times, rewiring electrical unitsProvides oversight to outside contractors performing any type of work in the facility not associated with medical equipmentMaintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the magnetic door locks in the clinic and be able to perform basic trouble-shooting related to the timing of automatic locking and unlocking of clinic doors. Contact vendor expert help desk support as needed for magnetic door locking troubleshootingMaintains basic proficiency in the use of the software system that controls the recording and playback of our clinic security cameras.
