Deepwater Mechanic

The position of Deepwater Mechanic entails operating an offshore production facility according to customer specifications, conducting testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of equipment, and completing mandatory paperwork for both customers and governmental agencies. Additionally, responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining various equipment such as turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, and reciprocating equipment like pumps and compressors.Operate offshore production facility in accordance with customer requirementsTest, calibrate, maintain and inspect equipmentPerform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agenciesMaintain and troubleshoot, turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.)High School Diploma or equivalent required3-8 years mechanic experience on an offshore production platform preferredReal ID driver's license or current U.S. passportComputer knowledgeSAP experienceTurbine experienceShould be familiar with Subsea equipmentOrganization skills to maintain platformExcellent interpersonal communications skills in a team environmentCreating policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboatsNeeds to have technical mechanical skills and be able to create policies and procedureCandidate will not be required to complete technical writing tasks
