Web Designer/Developer

Overview VTG is looking for a Web Designer/Developer in Chantilly VA. What will you do? The Web Designer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and refining a variety of internal and external communication products, including websites, briefings, posters, newsletters, and other visual media. This role combines creative design with technical development skills to deliver visually compelling and user-friendly digital and print materials. The ideal candidate is proficient in standard graphic design tools and web technologies and understands how to translate complex content into clear, engaging visuals. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop new websites and digital assets or update and enhance existing ones to improve functionality and appearance. Create visually engaging briefings, posters, infographics, newsletters, and other multimedia products. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand communication goals and translate them into effective visual and web-based products. Ensure all designs adhere to branding and accessibility standards. Maintain and update existing websites, ensuring content accuracy and optimal user experience. Use standard graphic design and web development tools to produce high-quality content. Troubleshoot design or technical issues related to multimedia or web platforms. Provide recommendations on creative strategy and new tools or technologies to enhance communications. Do you have what it takes? Required Qualifications: TS/SCI with Poly required. Bachelor's degree (preferred in Web Design, Graphic Design, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in web design/development or multimedia production. Proficiency in standard graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with web development languages and platforms such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress). Strong visual design skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
