Customer Accounting Representative

This position will involve accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, collection, general ledger, and financial analysis functions. This position will also work on various financial and accounting projects. This position requires a high level of accuracy and exceptional communication skills.Maintain accounts receivable for National Accounts and Snap-on Business Solutions Kenosha in LN (enterprise resource planning system)Apply cash receipts to customer accountsIssue statements to customersResearch and resolve unallocated funds and aged credit balancesAccept customer payments by credit card where requiredPay and offset inter-company charges through the Snap-on Netting processProduce queries from LN for financial analysisCode invoices for accounts payable and ensure proper authorization and receipt Other duties as assignedMinimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s Degree preferredHigh level of accuracyAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to interact with internal and external customers professionallyCharacteristics of integrity, commitment, judgment, and a positive attitudeProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong working knowledge of accounting principles
