Data Analyst

ANV Global Services, Inc. (ANV), a fast-growing MGA specialized in financial lines insurance, requires a professional with extensive experience with requirements gathering, data, analytics, and management information delivery. The role includes maintenance and enhancement of pricing engines for ANV´s various lines of business, improved efficiency through data mapping and integration as well as enhanced decision making through the development of automated management information and data analysis. Role is based out of ANV´s Morristown office but will service both our US and International operations. Partner closely with underwriting, claims and operations departments to improve risk selection, drive efficiency and management reportingMaintain and enhance ANV´s pricing engines to improve the data quality and ensure data integrityGather data from various sources and clean raw datasets, evaluate data quality and fix data issues, and create analytic datasetsImprove or fully automate the report generation processesData management deliverables including automated reports and ad-hoc MIData analytics for improved decision making and risk selectionApply analytical skills to identify and address business/process problems through data driven strategiesEssential:Minimum 2-3 years in data analyst or comparable roleMust have hand-on experience in database and Power BIExperience with relational databases Access or SQL is requiredComfortable using BI tools to analyze and manipulate data such as BO, SQL, Power BI Strong skills in data extraction and analysisUnderstanding of business and IT processesWell organized and be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesExperience in VBA is a big plusDesirable:Industry specific knowledgeTeam player with can do attitude#LI-NS1#LI-HYBRIDAmTrust Financial Services offers a competitive compensation package and excellent career advancement opportunities.
