Bookkeeper

Position: Bookkeeper Pay: $23-$28/hr (depending on experience) Location: Balch Springs, TX Shift:6:30am-4pm Eval-to-Hire We are seeking a qualified Full-Charge Bookkeeper with extensive QuickBooks experience and a strong background in construction industry accounting. This individual will play a key role in financial management, compliance, and office operations, supporting a fast-paced team while gradually stepping into a broader office manager capacity. Responsibilities Handle full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks, including financial reporting and reconciliations Supervise a part-time AP clerk and oversee payroll and workers' comp reporting Manage sales/use tax filings and ensure timely renewals of licenses and insurance Maintain compliance documents for contractor pre-qualification and annual updates Support daily office operations and step into broader office manager duties over time Experience/Skills Required 5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) Prior experience in the construction industry strongly preferred Strong understanding of AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management Experience with sales/use tax and workers’ comp reporting Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to track and manage license renewals and compliance deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced office Comfortable taking initiative and evolving into a broader office manager role Please APPLY NOW at or call (972)-698-6668
