We are currently seeking severalFederal Contract Specialists.Particularly interested inFAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102 Contract Specialist - Essential Functions Overview: The Contract Specialist is responsible for overseeing procurement processes, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing contract administration. The level assigned will depend on the individual's experience and credentials. Core Responsibilities (Applicable to all levels): + Prepare solicitation documents and manage the procurement process. + Receive, record, and review offers and modifications. + Conduct cost/price analysis, participate in negotiations, and document fair and reasonable pricing. + Maintain official contract files, ensuring compliance with federal and GSA procurement regulations. + Process contractor invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and perform closeout actions. + Manage the placement and administration of both simplified acquisitions and formal contracts. + Handle high-dollar transactions and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards. Essential Qualifications by Level: Contract Specialist u2013 Senior Level + Minimum of15 yearsof federal contracting experience, with a preference for construction project expertise. + Must possessFAC-C, DAWIA, or GS-1102certifications. + Bacheloru2019s degree required(Degree requirement may be waived with extensive experience). + Priorfederal employment in contracting is preferred. Contract Specialist u2013 Level IV + Minimum of8 yearsof federal contracting experience, with construction project experience highly desirable. + Preference given to candidates withFAC-C, DAWIA, or GS-1102 certifications. + Bacheloru2019s degree or procurement certifications required. Contract Specialist u2013 Levels II & III + Minimum of5 yearsof government contracting experience. + Construction project experience preferred. + Special consideration given to candidates withFAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102 certifications. + Must have24 credit hours in business coursesfrom an accredited college. Conditions of Employment + U.S. Citizenship required + Must participate in a federal background investigation + A bacheloru2019s degree and (minimum) 8 or more years in communications Qualifications Contract Specialist - Senior: Minimum Qualifications: Fifteen (15) years of experience in federal contracting, Construction project experience is preferred.Must have FAC-C, DAWIA, or GS-1102 certifications and a Bachelor'sdegree (Degree requirement can be waived with the right experience level). Prior Federal employment in contracting preferred. Contract Specialist - IV: Minimum Qualifications: Eight (8) years of experience in federal contracting. Construction project experience is a huge plusSpecial consideration given to FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102.Bachelor's degree or procurement certifications required. Contract Specialist -ll and III: Minimum Qualifications:Five (5) years of experience in government contracting. Construction projects experience is a huge plus Special consideration given to FAC-C, DAWIA, GS-1102.Must have 24 hours of business credits from an accredited college.
