Sachse Construction is looking for Construction Management Interns to join our team in Summer 2026! Our paid summer internship is five days per week and eight hours per day. Our commitment to our core values — do the right thing, have passion and enthusiasm, pursue excellence by constantly raising the bar, and do whatever it takes — has earned the trust of clients from national retail chains to private and institutional owners.We have been repeatedly recognized with several national and local awards, including:Best and Brightest Company to Work ForBest and Brightest in WellnessTop WorkplaceCertified Great Place to WorkResponsibilities may include:Change ManagementAssist/Input all potential cost itemsReview, qualify and prepare change ordersProcess all project costs and invoicesResponsible for updating and preparing committed cost reports(job/client specific)Request and obtain pricing for all changes (submittal/RFI/ Bulletins, etc.).Document ControlProcess submittals and shop drawingsLog in and track Requests for InformationReceive and route jobsite correspondenceMaintain and distribute project documentationObtain and process start-up and closeout documentsManage and update drawings and specificationsDocument minutes during jobsite meetingsArchive project information at completionProcurementAssist project manager and estimator in establishing committed cost report.Develop/ set up submittal registerDevelop required on job log (materials)Field OperationsEnforce corporate safety policies on jobsite, working closely with the project manager, safety representative, and superintendent to support the project safety plan to provide another set of eyes for safety complianceTrack timely receipt of required submittals/ shop drawings and samples.Course of study in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or ArchitectureOur company is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace that is strives for inclusion.
