We are a leading service and expertise provider for high-tech commercial ventures, spanning communications, earth observation and remote sensing systems and data products, to the infrastructures that support earth orbiting and beyond earth orbit businesses.Idealapplicant will have experience with Infrared Optical Payloads and IR data analysis for missile warning, missile tracking and missile defense applications. They will have a working knowledge of space vehicle operations, software development, payload calibration, weapons systems, the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) enterprise as it pertains to existing capabilities and planned constellations, image data processing and data fusion. The candidate should have both excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to take broad guidance and engage with partners to develop programmatic approaches.Create tasking plans for the IR payload for both targets and calibration events according to payload constraintsMonitor payload data for quality and troubleshoot issuesWork as part of the system team to suggest and implement improvements that streamline operations and data flowDevelop test plans and procedures for one-off eventsAdvise and assist the government and development contractors on future mission capabilityIntegrate new capability into the OPIR enterpriseInteract with International Affairs (IA) Capabilities Division, PEOs, and interagency partners to ensure complete and informed strategies and plansRequired Skills:BS degree in STEM10+ years in space vehicle operations and/or software development and/or image processingExperience with open shift or other container platformsFamiliarity with various data formats such as OPGA or ILOSExperience developing and transitioning capability to USSF operatorsDesired Skills:MS degree in STEM15+ years in space vehicle operations and/or software development and/or image processingTechnical image data analysis for battlespace awareness applicationsGEOINT data fusionAI/ML applications for processing GEOINT dataSecurity Clearance & Other Requirements: U.S. Citizen with Top Secret Clearance and with the ability to obtain SCI level clearances as requiredPosition is located in Boulder, CO - Note: Position on site and travel expected to be less than 20% of the time.Compensation:The typical salary range for this position is USD $138,000 - $165,000 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, profit sharing / retirement plan and other benefits (all in addition to annual base salary).Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require quick responses to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
