We are a family-centered, pediatric subspecialty Ambulatory Surgical Center located in Pasadena, providing complex care for children with orthopedic conditions.The Pharmacy Technician will provide pharmaceutical services to staff to include preparation of medications to be dispensed, maintaining inventory and a variety of administrative and operational functions as a member of the pharmacy team.This position is part time, non-exempt, and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $26.27 - $37.08/hour. Compensation is determined based on experience and department equity.Utilizes the appropriate technique to prepare medications to be dispensed for patient administrationPerforms a variety of activities/services to maintain an adequate inventory of pharmacy supplies andmedications both in the pharmacy and in the patient care areasPerforms a variety of patient care related services that indirectly affects each patient’s quality of care Performs a variety of administrative and operational functions in support of the PharmaceuticalServices DepartmentThis is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Required: Pharmacy Technician licensure in CABLSPreferred:2+ years inpatient pharmacy experience1+ years IV compounding experience
