Continually improves the operations, stability, and performance of PACS while minimizing downtime. Serves as technical expert in resolving radiology systems issues. Provides coaching and training to radiology systems staff and end-users. Assists in developing detailed capital plans and provides expertise during vendor negotiations.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED1. Bachelor's degree2. Five (5) years' experience with implementing and supporting Radiology Systems 3. Must have an understanding of Radiology processes and its different modalities4. Strong communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills5. Exceptional analytical and technical troubleshooting skills6. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment of constantly shifting prioritiesKNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED1. Experience with networking hardware and applications2. Five (5) years demonstrated experience implementing and supporting PACS or other systems in a hospital environment3. A minimum of two (2) years of radiology management and project management experience is preferred.
