Job Description Description We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Cloud Architect with a strong emphasis on networking and system administration, particularly within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Qualified candidates will have strong (hands on) VBCS and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experience. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, along with the ability to architect and implement complex cloud solutions, leveraging their extensive experience in OCI, networking, and system administration. This role is not eligible for sponsorship. #LI-VC7 Career Level - IC5 Responsibilities Responsibilities u2022 Architect and Implement Oracle OCI Cloud Solutions: Design and build robust cloud architectures on OCI, focusing on networking, storage, and system administration to solve complex customer challenges. u2022 Design and troubleshoot code and administer existing code base for OIC integrations and VBCS extensions. u2022 Network Design and Optimization: Influence the design, capacity planning, and performance tuning of networking components within OCI to ensure scalable and reliable cloud solutions. u2022 System Administration: Manage and optimize system resources, including operating systems, middleware, and databases, to maintain high availability and performance in OCI environments. u2022 Customer Interaction: Serve as the technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance on network architecture and system administration during escalations and critical situations. u2022 Cloud Monitoring and Management: Leverage Oracle Cloud Observability and Management technologies to create comprehensive monitoring solutions, including the development of dashboards and alerts for proactive system management. u2022 High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR): Design and implement HA/DR solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring business continuity and resilience in OCI deployments. u2022 Technical Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and Oracle best practices. u2022 Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools like Ansible and Terraform to automate cloud deployments, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention. Preferred Qualifications: u2022 Educational Background: Bacheloru2019s or Masteru2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. u2022 Minimum eight years of experience architecting solutions for large enterprise systems, with a strong focus on cloud technologies. u2022 Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including networking, storage, and system administration. u2022 Strong experience and knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and VBCS u2022 Proven expertise in Oracle products, including SaaS applications (ERP, WMS, HCM), Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Databases. u2022 Proficiency in cloud deployment tools such as Ansible and Terraform, with a solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. u2022 Strong scripting skills in Unix/Linux Shell, Perl, Ansible, and Python. u2022 Experience with Java and SQL programming is highly desirable. u2022 Technical Skills: u2022 Deep understanding of cloud networking, including VCN design, subnet management, security lists, and load balancing in OCI. u2022 Strong background in system administration, particularly in managing Unix/Linux environments and Oracle technologies. u2022 Knowledge of HA/DR strategies, including implementation and management in cloud environments. u2022 Soft Skills: u2022 Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying technical solutions to both executive and technical stakeholders. u2022 Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing customer needs and system performance issues. Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
