Key job responsibilities You will be required to work either a 5x8 hr shift or a 4x10 hr shift. You may be required to work on Saturdays. u2022 Managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows to complete customer requests and projects u2022 Collaborating with various stakeholders to remove project obstacles u2022 Troubleshooting networking, routing and interconnectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords u2022 Specifying Power and Cooling requirements and ensuring Hardware Racking/Stacking completed for new equipment u2022 Participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware Traveling within and outside of regional work area is required. You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area, as company transportation will not be provided. Basic Qualifications- High school or equivalent diploma - 1+ year or experience in any of the following IT roles: Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, Technical Project ManagementPreferred Qualifications- Data center experience Industry standard certifications (CompTIA, CCENT, Network+,) - Knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment - Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters - Understanding of infrastructure technologies, including Routers, Switches, Load Balancers and Firewalls - Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
