Senior Advanced RF Electrical Engineer

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a Senior RF electrical engineer for Tactical Communications, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing rapid prototype mission critical solutions to our customer community.Duties and Tasks:RF Design & Product Development:Detailed circuit analysis and design, managing the physical build of circuitry and developmentRF printed circuit board (PCB) schematic and layout design3D Electromagnetic design/analysis using tools such as Ansys HFSS, MomentumHands-on lab work optimizing and evaluating RF circuits using state of the art tools and test equipment.Design and evaluation of RF front ends, IF sections, filters, phase-locked loops, AGC loops, synthesizers, power amplifiers, etc...Gain line up specification and analysisDesign Automation Tools: ex. Keysight ADS, Cadence, Matlab, etc.Substantial contribution to:Analysis and/or definition of electrical requirements, RF performance, components, and interfaces.Plans or leads design documentation including worst case analysis, test plans, and test proceduresFormulating, evaluating, implementing solutions to technical issuesTechnical reviews of peer workEvaluation of vendor capabilitySecurity clearance may be required.What sets you apart: Experience in high performance receiver designs requiring excellent sensitivity, adjacent channel rejection, and intermodulation distortion.
