Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systemsTravel to job sites in service area and work with dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customerBe available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service emergency needs of our customersMaintain good working order of company vehicle, equipment, and electronicsMaintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicleDocument details of services and parts provided to customers electronically through iPad applicationsDiagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations, and be able to explain need for and value of recommended solutionsParticipate in company-provided training opportunitiesIdentify and report potential opportunities for additional business (new unit/ system, PM contracts, and additional services)High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 2 years recent experience as an HVAC/R field technicianEPA certification and a valid driver’s licenseStrong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret schematics and work plansBasic comfort with mobile apps and technologyA strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to qualityWillingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when neededThis is a physically active role. You should be able to:Lift up to 100 lbsStand, climb, kneel, crouch, bend, and work with tools for extended periodsOperate devices such as iPads, phones, and power toolsWork indoors and outdoors, often in commercial settings
