KCI is currently ranked #56 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 design firms in the nation.KCI BENEFITS INFORMATIONWe offer a competitive compensation package, family friendly benefits, a collaborative working environment, and the training, mentoring and resources you need to advance in your career.We understand that you have choices, and we know that together we will make a great team!KCI is committed to building a diverse and inclusive staff, and we encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and individuals with disabilities to apply.This position is a Survey Party Chiefwhich requires4 - 8years of experience supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.Must have the ability to mentor, train, and manage assigned staff in thefield.Must have the ability to operate robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment.Must have excellent math skills and be able to perform survey calculations in the field.Must have ability to interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.Must have ability tocreate legible field sketches and detailed field notes.A valid current driver’s license is required.Ability to follow instructions and have a positive can-do attitude are necessities.Must possess leadership and mentoring skills.Must be able to lift 50 pounds, walk for extended periods, work in all weather conditions, willing to work evenings/weekends when required, willing to travel for overnight and extended stay projects as required.Perform other duties as assigned.High School Diploma or GED is required.Minimum of 4 - 8 years of experience.Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.Participate in cross - training as requested to build a stronger teamCommunicate your work flow needs to your team and to your supervisorComply with all KCI policies and proceduresAccurately records and reports daily forms per project requirementsCommunicates effectively with client, contractor, staff, and supervisorPerforms other duties as assignedProactively resolves problems at the lowest levelAdheres to project scope, schedule, and budgetReviews all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submittingSubmits accurate time sheets, mileage and expense reports on time each weekReviews jobsite safety daily and takes immediate action to document and resolve issuesUnderstands OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follows them at all timesAccurately record and report your work each day on the forms providedInspect and correct your own work before turning it inPerform all task assignments using required industry standardsReview all work assigned to you before beginning your workUnderstand all applicable industry standards for your assigned tasksWork with your team to maximize your production and accuracy to help us achieve our goalHas the specific knowledge to perform all dutiesMaintains all required certifications and participates in training courses as requiredUnderstands all applicable industry standards for project and performs all tasks per standards and client requirementsKCI Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
