This on-siteposition could also be fulfilled at the following office locations: IowaCity, IA; Cedar Rapids, IA; Bettendorf, IA; Chicago, IL; Valparaiso, IN;and West Des Moines, IA. Our MEP BIM Manager oversees the BuildingInformation Modeling (BIM) process for MEP systems (Revit) within adiverse book of projects. This role involves managing the company's BIMassets and leading improvements to company-wide MEP content andprocesses. Leading and working collaboratively with mechanical andelectrical designers and company BIM Coordinators who ensure systems arealigned, clash-free, and efficiently designed to meet projectrequirements is key for this position. Your leadership efforts willtarget improving project delivery and the client experience: LeadMechanical and Electrical teams to identify development needs for BIMsoftware Educate and train Mechanical and Electrical design office BIMCoordinators and lead the implementation of updated workflows Provideconsistency across offices as a resource in the use of designtechnologies Monitor trade related publications to identify emergingtechnologies that may impact how Shive-Hattery delivers projects anddevelop strategies to implement Facilitate ongoing development of thecompany Revit start-up file Create and manage new and existing BIMcontent Promote one firm approach by encouraging BIM standards Regularlytravel to our design offices Why Shive-Hattery?
