As a Screener with Allied Universal at a government location, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for all individuals entering the premises. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, conducting screening procedures, and assisting with access control to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing clear communication and exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. This position requires you to remain alert and approachable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere while supporting the overall security-related operations of the site. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What Youu2019ll Do: + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: + Greet and screen individuals entering the location, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies. + Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. + Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. + Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols, including emergency response activities when appropriate. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed. + Maintain detailed records of screening activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies. + Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to support a secure and orderly environment. What Weu2019re Looking For: + Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: + Must be at least 21 years of age. + A Guard Card or security-related license is preferred. + Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driveru2019s license will be required for driving positions only.
