That's why we're fully committed to inclusion across race, gender, age, religion, identity, and experience to drive us forward every day.Overview (Scope of Role)Trinseo is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Treasurer reporting to the SVP Corporate Development, Investor Relations & Treasury based in Wayne (PA). This individual will be responsible for global cash forecasting, liquidity management, covenant compliance, managing Trinseo’s hedging programs, and working closely with the Treasurer and senior management on financings.Cash Forecasting & Liquidity PlanningLead short- and long-term global cash forecasting processesMonitor and optimize global liquidity positionsInterface with FP&A and business units to align forecasts with operating realitiesFinancial Risk Management (FX, Interest Rates, Utilities)Expand and manage the global Hedge programs across the different categories including FX, Interest Rates and Utilities. Identify exposures and recommend appropriate hedging strategiesExecute hedge transactions via 360t, Bloomberg or the phone and ensure compliance with policyMonitor hedge effectiveness and provide reporting to senior managementTreasury Operations & ControlsManage banking relationships and ensure optimal account structuresReview and improve treasury policies, processes, and controlsSupport cash pooling and in-house banking operations including intercompany funding strategies.Manage Treasury Accounting Processes for Treasury Instruments in the Treasury Management System IT2Assist with compliance, KYC, and internal/external audit requestsLeadership & Strategic SupportAct as a strategic business partner across functions and geographiesMentor junior treasury staff based in Ireland, Asia and the USContribute to broader finance initiatives including M&A, working capital, and capital structure planningServe as the primary deputy for the SVP Treasurer The Assistant Treasurer will manage the Global Treasury team (direct and indirect combined)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field10+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience in a multinational environmentDeep expertise in cash forecasting and foreign exchange risk managementProficiency with treasury management systems (e.g. IT2, S4 Hanna) and Information Systems such as BloombergFinancial modelingExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organizationDemonstrated leadership potential and readiness for a future Treasurer roleEquity and InclusionWith our expanding global presence, cross-cultural insight and competence are essential for our ongoing success.
