Finley grew from a physician-led residential facility to a 126-bed, fully accredited hospital, and now, to a regional healthcare system that includes not only hospital services, but clinic and home services as well.General Established team of 3 NNPs and a remote Neonatologist Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferencesFull-time position 0.8 FTEFully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordinationLevel 2 NICU with 4 bedsAverage NICU census of 3-4/month and newborn nursery census of 4-8/day 7 days on; 14 days off; cover every 3rd weekend24-hour shifts; dedicated NNP sleep room onsiteAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveSpecialty skills: Circumcisions, intubations, surfactant administration UVC/UAC line placement/management, chest tube placement and management Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient carePatient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skillsNeonatal Nurse Practitioner or PNP with extensive NICU experienceBoard CertifiedExperienced NNPs preferredHold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practiceEligible to work in the United StatesWe offerCompetitive hourly rate A competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
