Technical Producer 2, Virtual Studio

We are seeking a part-time Technical Producer II to play an importantrole in the preparation for and delivery of live broadcast classsessions for BU Virtual. The Technical Producer must have demonstratedtechnical experience of broadcast studio equipment, as well as knowledgeof broadcast and live streaming platforms. The Technical Produceroversees live broadcast sessions, maintains studio equipment for peakperformance, runs equipment during the broadcast, and trains andsupervises freelance contractors and student production teams. This roleoperates in a professional office environment, as well as broadcaststudios and production control rooms. This is a part-time,benefits-eligible position with hours that coincide with early morningand late-night live sessions held Monday-Thursday at the BU Virtualproduction studios. Key responsibilities: ? End to end technicalproduction management using major webinar and major webinar and virtualmeeting platforms (e.g., Zoom). ? Managing the setup, wiring andoperation of high-resolution audio-visual equipment, virtual routers,video switchers, digital audio consoles, Mac & PC computers and videorecording software. ? Oversight and management of live broadcastsessions including professional contractors and student crew. ?Providing on-site technical supervision, overseeing all aspects ofproduction preparation and live production, technical execution, andlabor management. ? Working closely with the Teaching Team and ExecutiveDirector, Live Studio & Media Center Operations to on-board faculty andteaching teams. ? Video editing. ? Keeping abreast with industry trendsand technology. Required Skills ? 4-year college
