Overview We have an immediate opening for anexperienced Proposal Manager to join our Intelligent Grid Solutionspractice. You would be reporting to the Sr. Director of CommercialOperations and would work closely with senior staff to develop winningthemes and produce high quality proposals. Responsibilities Manage thepreparation of high-quality proposals and marketing materials by workingacross departments including teams from sales, engineering, projectmanagement, legal, finance, marketing, HR, etc. Develop of proposalmanagement plan including identification of proposal response team,proposal writing assignments, and key proposal milestones. Facilitatedevelopment of proposal themes and capture plan. Bring TRC marketingphilosophy and messaging to provide compelling value propositions onstrategic pursuits. Write new material; rewrite existing material toemphasize sales themes; collect and compile information from otherauthors. Interview staff to customize resumes and project descriptionsto meet proposal requirements and messaging. Experience with private andpublic sector procurement portals (i.e., Ariba, Wood Mackenzie, BidNet,GEP, etc.) and understand the various protocols for doing business withthe utility sector. Manage team/peer review process and finalizedocuments. Assist in the preparation of short-list interviewpresentations using PowerPoint and other media. Support key companysales initiatives through market research, development of the TRCmessage, and preparation of presentations and other marketing material.Take an active role in the Strategic Team's process improvement andknowledge-sharing activities Implement proposal best practices on everyproposal effort undertaken.
