You will conduct assignments in an officeor hybrid setting, with regular site visits and occasional longer-termfield work; assist in preparing technical reports, environmentalcompliance documents, and engineering designs. You will work withProject Managers and Engineers across a variety of solid waste, electricutility, and environmental management projects. How you can make an impact Follow SCS health and safety protocols.Conduct site visits and performing environmental monitoring. Perform CADdrafting (AutoCAD and Civil3D) and/or coordinate with CAD drafters toprovide design plans and figures. Assist with design and permitting ofsolid waste and electric utility facilities. Prepare permit applicationsand perform regulatory agency coordination. Prepare calculations forreports and in support of design documents. Review technical documentsfor completeness and conformance to requirements. Prepare technicalreports, proposals, bid documents, and health & safety municate with clients for field work coordination, project updates,reporting, design document status, permitting status, and meetings.Conduct and document construction quality assurance (CQA) observationsfor compliance with construction documents. Prepare proposals and costestimates. Research technical data and regulations. Participate inhealth and safety training. Qualifications Bachelor of science degree incivil, environmental, geological or geotechnical engineering required.Minimum of 3 months of relevant environmental and/or engineeringinternship, work and/or research experience required.
