We’re looking for a hands-on professional to support our dynamic rubber manufacturing facility in Ohio.In this full-time role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring our production machinery and mechanical systems run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be working in a fast-paced industrial environment where no two days are the same — diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, and executing repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.What We’re Looking For:2-3 years of proven industrial maintenance experienceStrong knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting, with a solid grasp of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsA proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a production-driven settingWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly wage: $24.00/hourStable Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)Opportunity for long-term career growth and advancement in a well-established company401(k) with company matchPaid holidays, vacation, and sick timeHealth Reimbursement AccountDental and vision insurance coverage.Opportunity for overtime.If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves and be a key player in a team that values reliability and skill, we want to hear from you.Apply today and take the next step in your industrial maintenance career!Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including conveyor systems, molding machines, extruders, and other production machinery.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production lines.Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery or modifications to existing systems.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order in the maintenance shops and production area.Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently.Support continuous improvement initiatives by offering suggestions to improve maintenance processes and reduce costs.Document all maintenance activities in logs or digital maintenance systems.Collaborate with production, safety, and quality teams to ensure operational efficiency.Comply with safety regulations including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and proper use of tools and PPE.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training in industrial maintenance are a plus.2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment (preferably in rubber, plastics, or similar industries).Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic).Experience with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel) for record-keeping and reporting.Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work safely with industrial machinery and chemicals.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.Proficient with hand and power tools; welding or fabrication experience is beneficial.Preferred Skills:Forklift certification or man-lift certification.Strong communication and organizational skillsPLC experience.Work Schedule:Monday-Friday 7am to 3:30pmOccasional overtime, weekends, or off-shift support as needed.https://www.mechanicalrubber.com/
