Land Roustabout

The Roustabout is an entry-level field position in the oil and gas industry responsible for performing general labor and maintenance tasks to support drilling, production, and construction operations. This hands-on role plays a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of oilfield equipment and facilities.Assist with the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of oilfield equipment and pipelinesLoad, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from work sitesClean and maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient operationsDig trenches and set up or dismantle tanks, rigs, and other temporary or permanent oilfield structuresOperate hand tools and light equipment such as forklifts, winches, and pressure washersSupport welders, mechanics, and other field personnel with day-to-day tasksFollow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsReport equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisorsPerform manual labor in varying weather conditions and remote environmentsHigh school diploma or GED required0-2 years of experience in oilfield or industrial labor preferredMust be able to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physically demanding tasksAbility to work in outdoor environments for extended periodsStrong commitment to safety and teamworkValid driver’s license preferred; clean driving record a plusWillingness to work rotational or extended shifts as needed
