AmTrust Financial, a fast growing P&C Insurance company is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst supporting the Sales organization for the North America P&C division.Primarily responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data to provide insightful reports/dashboards to increase sales productivityDevelop and maintain both standardized and custom reports, conduct key sales analysis, participate in cross functional projects, and support sales managers with accurate and meaningful reporting and data analysisWork on the development and implementation of enhancements in Salesforce and proprietary management systems by documenting requirements, conducting UAT testing and creating training materials for end-usersCollaborate with IT, operations, and analytics teams to develop and implement sales reports/dashboards in PowerBI, Salesforce, CRM Analytics, etc.Assist with the administration and the execution of quarterly sales compensation plansSupport ad-hoc requestsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Business Administration, or Finance required5+ yrs experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industryAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills are requiredFluency with SQL and relational databasesExperience with Power BI and Salesforce, preferably Financial Services CloudStrong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Intellectual curiosity and attention to detailExperience with data management and an understanding of data transformation and visualization techniques to drive insights and data-driven decision makingAbility to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and solve complex problems with focus on simplicity and scalabilityEffectively manages many priorities across the organization and adjust as priorities change Ability to work in a team environment, but also self-motivated to produce results with minimal supervisionExceptional communication skills including ability to communicate new concepts when interfacing with sales teams and region managementThis job description is designed to provide a general overview of the requirements of the job and does not entail a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, or responsibilities that will be required in this position.
