The role will entail identifying and developing new business opportunities, generating leads, conducting market research, and providing customer service. The business development specialist will be based in Arlington, VA with some remote work allowed.5-10 years of experience in the transportation or engineering industry requiredPrior work history with DMV DOT agencies highly perferredStrong analytical and communication skillsExperience with lead generation and creating business opportunitiesMarket research skillsCustomer service experienceBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fieldSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyRelevant skills and qualifications would include experience with technical proposal writing, client interface, contract management, developing pipeline and budget forecasts, recruiting key technical personnel to staff contract wins, and the ability to work within a team environment to deliver results that meet and exceed client expectations.M&J Engineering, P.C. is a quality provider of multi-discipline consulting services with over 300 employees.
