Burgess & Niple is looking for anu00a0Environmental Scientistu00a0to join our team in Columbus.B&N Environmental Scientist Responsibilities:- Conduct ecological field surveys (wetland delineations, stream assessments, and habitat evaluations) and associated reporting- Conduct CWA Section 404/401 permitting- Prepare NEPA documentationu00a0and supporting studies for transportation and other civil engineering projects- Assist with design, specification and cost estimates for constructed wetlands and stream restoration projects- Reads, analyses and interprets technical procedures, government regulations and industry standards- Out of town/state travel will be required throughout the U.S.Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in the field of Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related degree; Masters degree preferred- 0-2 years of related environmental/ecological field survey and permitting experience; stream/wetland delineation experience is preferred- Microsoft Office experience required, prior experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD preferred- Excellent communication skills and detail oriented- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and traverse uneven terrain- Ability to travel up to 20-30% of time, including overnight stays- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
