Veterinary Assistant

Bedford Greenwich Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team.We are a two-doctor, small animal practice in Bedford NY with a small but wonderful fun loving and family-oriented staff.This is a full-time position with alternating Saturday shifts. Our Veterinary Assistants are an important part of our pet care team and help provide excellent care to our patients as well as providing outstanding customer service to our clients.This position is a great training opportunity for someone that wants to become a veterinary technician or to further their technical skills to become licensed technician or a certified assistant. We prefer candidates with veterinary practice experience including (but not limited to) greeting patients/clients, lab work, monitoring of patients, assisting veterinarians, blood draw and catheter placement, pharmacy duties and handling medical records.The emotional and physical wellbeing of our employees is important to us.
