If you are a Marine Carpenter and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!Job Scope:Furniture and cabinet construction and installationDeck repair and new deck installationFitting and installation of interior appliancesVeneer installation and finishingAssessing job requirements and time estimates prior to startingAssigning parts/purchases to appropriate vessel/job ticketsAccurately logging time per job in timekeeping systemMaintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentCross-functional support in other crafts such as paint and fiberglass as neededRequirements:Minimum 3 years of Marine Carpentry experienceFamiliarity with exotic woods such as teak, holly, and mahoganyStrong understanding of marine construction materials and techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings/specificationsProficiency with a wide range of carpentry tools and equipmentMust possess personal hand toolsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipAbility to work collaboratively with a teamPhysically able to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and climb stairs/scaffolding on land and on vesselsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust pass a Drug Screen, Background Check and pre-employment physicalValid driver’s license requiredTradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
